The Invisible Man Camouflage Artwork
This awesome art is by Liu Bolin who is famous for his artwork, specifically his invisible man artwork where he is painstakingly painted by his assistants so that he blends in perfectly with the environment where he is positioned, this camouflaged technique products stunning photos which often take a while before you actually see him in the photographs.
Liu has had his work exhibited across the world in galleries across capital cities, he was born in 1973 and is from Shandong province in China and current resides in Beijing, he’s always been involved in art receiving a Bachelor as well as a Masters of Fine Art. His most famous work is from his ‘Hiding in the City’ collection of photos which show him blended into his surroundings in city environments, Lui would have to stand still for hours while he was painted precisely so that it looked as camouflaged as possible. One of the latest exhibitions that he has had involved his invisible man work being placed in a New York gallery where he blended into fruit and vegetable stands as well as newspaper stands.
Speaking about his invisble man artworks Liu stated that [quote align=”center” color=”#999999″]Each one chooses his or her path to come in contact with the external world. I chose to merge with the environment[/quote], we are in love with his artwork and can only begin to imagine how long it must take to do each one. Often people will walk right past him during the painting of himself as they simply do not see him.
